Nikal has been part of the regeneration of Eastside from the beginning, having delivered award-winning developments regardless of the economic climate. With the second phase at Masshouse, Nikal is now in position to deliver new regeneration, new jobs and substantial new business rates, providing income and creating an attractive prospect that will assist the city in securing further inward investment.

Nikal is a privately held limited company that pursues major town and city centre re-development /regeneration projects and real estate investment opportunities.  As a significant player in the UK redevelopment field, the Nikal brand is synonymous with quality, style, and innovation. 

By focusing on recycling brownfield land for modern uses with an emphasis towards sustainability, Nikal aims to create appealing and efficient places to live, work and entertain.  The mixed-use developments are intended to spur regeneration in towns and in city centres.

Nikal is committed to sustainability, having achieved BREEAM Excellent at its scheme in Wells and forged a unique relationship with Birmingham District Energy Company to deliver homes that meet Code 4 of the Code for Sustainable Homes at Masshouse.

As of December 2012, Nikal owns and is participating in the development of six schemes locally and globally across the United Kingdom and the United States. Current live projects are located in Birmingham, Altrincham, Manchester, Salford (MediaCity), Wells,  Poole and South Carolina. Since the company was formed in 2003, it has successfully completed several major developments in the UK.
