Exchange Square launches in Birmingham

Exchange Square, Birmingham’s most exciting new business quarter, has launched and is set to spearhead the expansion of the city core.

Exchange Square is the second and final phase of Nikal's £600M development at Masshouse, Birmingham and represents one of few viable locations for the immediate large scale expansion of Birmingham's business district.

Exchange Square's enviable position at the heart of the city's business, retail, knowledge, and digital quarters will make it the city's go-to location for business occupiers, and a destination that will provide the next generation of sustainable, cost effective office space in the Birmingham.

Flexible outline consent has been granted for three quarters of a million square feet of mixed-use space.

Outline planning consent comprises of:

  • Up to 550,000 sq ft (NIA) Grade A offices
  • Up to 150,000 sq ft of hotel and / or residential use
  • Up to 50,000 sq ft of complementary retail space
  • Up to 500 car parking spaces
